Foaling season is in full swing and very soon we will introduce you to this year’s new arrivals… 🤍

But before the little stars steal the spotlight, a little appreciation post for the incredible recipient mares that carry and care for our babies so lovingly.

These last weeks before foaling are spent together out in the fields, enjoying the calm before the chaos, sharing stories, worries, excitement and probably the occasional disagreement too 😉

Soon their little ones will arrive, meet for the first time and spend their days running, playing and becoming best friends… when they are not busy annoying their mothers, of course.

At Château de Fontaine, the development of our young horses is built around patience, balance, and understanding, allowing each horse the time to grow both physically and mentally. From the very first groundwork to their debut under saddle, every stage has a purpose.

The goal is not only to create talented sport horses, but horses that feel confident, relaxed, and happy in their work ✨

Lafayette de Fontaine🖤

Powerful yet kind. Sensitive yet strong. She is the kind of horse that leaves a mark on your heart without even trying and has always been incredibly special to us.

French Champion as a 4-year-old last year, Lafayette has since taken the time she needed to grow, mature and build strength. Soon you’ll see her back in the arena where she shines ✨

All horses (and riders) are in full preparation mode for the season to come, including 5yo Rebell de Fontaine as you can see 😉

We are so grateful to have such a dedicated team who show up everyday, and of course our amazing four-legged friends that always give their best.

We are ready to rock the arena very soon - stay tuned…
