Dieudonné MPouki: The minister has decided to allow entrepreneurs and legal professionals to use the Infogreffe portal again, from Monday 20 February, for the formalities of modification and cessation of activity for any type of company, of any legal form, craft, commercial and agricultural, having an impact on the trade and companies register. This also includes the filing of one off information and the filing of declarations by company officials.The government plans to keep the system until 30 June, giving INPI time to correct malfunctions and complete the tasks assigned to the one-stop shop, i.e. to provide a single entry point for all company declarations.
This is a very ambitious project, but it can only be achieved if all those involved parties are fully committed, including the clerks of the commercial courts. This is what we have always done, we have always accompanied all the reforms undertaken by the Government. Some are visible, others not. For example, last year we took over the maritime mortgages. Now, as this one-stop shop reform is being carried out by the INPI, and even though we had proposed using our Infogreffe tool, which has proved its worth, we are acting, like the other parties involved, so that company directors and professionals can carry out their procedures simply and efficiently.
In the end, it is a question of enabling the French trade and company register to play its full role as a legal publicity and transparency tool for the business world thanks to the dissemination of data controlled and certified by the commercial court clerks, who are public and ministerial officers delegated with a public service mission by the courts. These data, I remind you, are disseminated to the public and made available to our institutional partners such as Tracfin and the national financial prosecutor's office in the context of their missions.
