For one week, the UTMB turns Chamonix into the trail-running capital of the world.

We're used to hosting professional teams from around the globe in our chalets. This year brought a first: the Oman by UTMB team

They arrived with dates, coffee, and a touch of Gulf sunshine — the kind of exchange that makes weeks like this one special.

We settled them into La Ferme du Savoy, with the Mont-Blanc as their view.

A UTMB campaign is sometimes years in the making. Whether it's your first start line or your tenth, nothing should be left to chance — including where you stay.

Nous avons l'habitude d'accueillir dans nos chalets des équipes professionnelles venues du monde entier. Cette année, une première : l'équipe Oman by UTMB

Ils sont arrivés avec des dattes, du café et un peu de soleil du Golfe — le genre d'échange qui rend ces semaines-là particulières.

Nous les avons installés à La Ferme du Savoy, vue imprenable sur le Mont-Blanc.

It begins three weeks earlier. When the guides are booked and the outings arranged, without you having to give it a thought. When the shopping is done — and it's the right shopping. When the questions are answered before you've even asked them.

Ce qui ne se trouve pas sur internet se trouve dans un carnet.

Le chef qui ne prend plus de réservations privées, mais qui répond quand c'est nous. Le vallon où vous ne croiserez personne un dimanche d'août. Le kiné qui vous prend le lendemain d'une mauvaise chute. Le lac que les cartes ne signalent pas.

Un grand hôtel a un concierge. Nous, nous avons quinze ans de vallée. Ce carnet s'est construit une adresse à la fois. Il ne s'achète pas, mais il s'ouvre pour nos clients.
