Happy World Octopus Day 🐙

Three hearts. Blue blood. Can change colour in under a second. Most of its brain is in its arms, so each arm can feel, taste and make its own small decisions.

The octopus is one of the most intelligent and unlikely creatures on Earth, a reminder of how extraordinary the creatures of our ocean truly are. That's why we chose it for our L***r can, and why Ocean B**r's profits go to the creation of Marine Protected Areas protecting the ecosystems where creatures like this one live (👋 Blue Alliance).

This turtle has heard a lot of human promises. Hence the face. 🐢

So here's ours, kept simple: Ocean B**r is owned by a non-profit, Ocean Born Foundation, which donates 100% of its profits from sales to ocean conservation. Half funds Marine Protected Areas through Blue Alliance. Half funds local protection projects in the country where the b**r is brewed.
That's as simple as it gets! 😉

The ocean sustains all life on Earth but is in great danger, and the funding needed to restore its health is critically lacking.
To help tackle this planetary challenge, we had a bold (some might say crazy) idea: create a great-tasting, award-winning b**r that raises funds for the ocean!

That's the story behind Ocean B**r: a brand fully owned by Ocean Born Foundation, our certified non-profit that donates 100% of the sales profits to organisations working on the front lines of marine restoration.
Since 2021, over €500,000 has already been channelled to almost 40 different ocean protection initiatives.

Ocean B**r is now brewed locally in France, Germany, the UK and the Canary Islands.

Follow if you love the ocean! A young sea turtle should be exploring the ocean, not fighting for its life in a discarded fishing net. 🐢🌊

Thankfully, this one was rescued in time.

Every piece of lost fishing gear is a potential trap for marine life. That’s why our mission goes beyond removing plastic from the ocean. We support projects that protect marine life, restore ecosystems and help create an ocean where animals can thrive.
