Bike mechanic by day! Apartment builder by night!!
The light at the end of a very long tunnel is starting to grow.
This week all the lights were installed, coat hooks are in place and the floors are almost finished. There has been a big clean up as the kitchen has been ordered and the tiles have arrived for the bathrooms.
Hopefully the apartment will be ready for Christmas 🤞

Organising the Luchon Bike Shop so that we can expand the clothing range we have planned for 2027 🧤👓👕🧦👖🎽🩳🚲🚵

Ian has just created a very smart display wall for the NEW range of Madison gloves and socks that have arrived for winter.

Loving the colours 🥰

Madison your Isoler Merino 3 season socks are the best and on my Xmas wish list 😉😅

The racing year has flown by and here we are already preparing for the final of the French national enduro series (Coupe de France 🇫🇷).

Most of the year the national enduro series has been held in the Alps; but this weekend my home town of Luchon is hosting both the French cup final and the European E-bike championships.

Today a 6:30am start, but only a quick 2 minute ride from home to the DRAG race team paddock which is set up in front of Luchon's thermal baths.

Kate will be keeping the Luchon Bike Centre open for me on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Big weekend of racing in Luchon for the final of the Coupe de France enduro 🇫🇷💪

Ian will be working as mechanic for the Luchon Loudenvielle Drag Race Team and Kate will be looking after the Luchon Bike Centre.

Our road bike rental fleet is being upgraded.

We will be using DRAG road bikes in 2027.

A few of the new bikes have already been taken on holiday for guests on the Velo Tours European tour. Great feedback from clients and all the bikes returned in perfect state 🙏

At the moment we have the DRAG Celerra DB in each size with the option of Di2 or mechanical gearing.

Our summer continues here in Luchon, although without the sweltering heat 🥵

September is a great month to be out on the bike and climbing the cols 🚴

Bike rentals are available all year round. Contact [email protected] for more information 😊

The Luchon Bike Centre has been open every day this summer. A huge thankyou to everyone who has supported our new shop in 2026 🙏
We have been so grateful to all the 5/5 google reviews and wonderful feedback received this summer🙏
We continue to invest in the shop and we have some amazing brand NEW bikes arriving very soon!!! Stay tuned 😉

In the mean time we have been asked for a decent photo that best describes the two us for a little article about the
Luchon Bike Centre...This has proven tricky
🙄😅

The new WHISTLE AXR electric mountain bike that arrived in the shop less than 2 weeks ago has already been sold and another one ordered 😮

I may struggle with saying goodbye to this bike!

So many people have admired it and rightfully so!

The question remains... WHERE'S MINE 😉

On the plus our new fleet of WHISTLE AXR electric mountain bikes should be arriving very soon...
