Another Drag bike has left the building!
This time a Drag Celerra MHO PRO e-road bike has found a wonderful new home.
Full carbon road bike with X-20 motor and Shimano 105 Di2 group set.
We're really loving the 2026 range of Drag bikes and have more orders on the way!

This year Luchon Bike Centre is supporting some young mountain bike riders to help them at the races in 2026.

Busy days!

Spring is definitely here as the bike workshop is becoming very busy with bikes to repair and service. We're also receiving alot of enquiries now for the new 2026 range of DRAG bikes.

There's also a variety of second hand bikes for sale if you want a bargain bike that has been used as part of the rental bike fleet for the last 2 years.

Spring was definitely in the air today! After a busy week in the workshop repairing bikes it was my time to enjoy the sunshine and take a spin on the E-bike. Most trails are open below 1200 metres. Any higher and you will need your snow shoes 😉😅

January has been a bit of a juggling act.
I didn't expect so many bikes to come to the workshop for servicing and repairs, as there has been alot of snow this winter. Great conditions for skiing! A bit too icy for climbing the cols 🥶

However the beauty of Luchon is that you can enjoy the huge network of road riding and mountain bike trails that are accessible all year round; Or alternatively jump on the lift and head to the ski fields...All in one day!

2 days a week I have been working on the building project.
Hopefully by this summer at least one of the two apartments will be ready to welcome guests.

There will be a 2 and 3 bedroom apartment that can be rented separately or both together for large groups.

We will be offering holiday activities that we specialise in such as:
Mountain bike guiding and mechanical support
Road cycling guiding and mechanical support
Yoga
Pilates
as well as using local guides and businesses if you're looking for a dynamic or relaxed Luchon experience. Luchon has alot to offer!

The last few days we have been preparing the rental fleet for the 2026 season. The bike fleet includes a range of road and mountain bikes, including E-bikes. Last week the owners of AirBikes contacted us to arrange a meeting to discuss what they can offer. Couldn't be happier with their service and how they can support our business.
You can hire our bikes directly through their platform now! Really happy with their booking service.
You can still contact Kate for more information and enquiries, but this booking platform makes the booking service quicker and easier for you.
They also include insurance and a break down service from anywhere in France!

Saturday was the Luchon Louron Cyclisme social club ride. Awesome day riding the trails with food and entertainment included.
Honoured to be chosen as one of the three judges for the whip-off competition. A huge depth of talented young riders here in the Pyrenees 👏🤩

On the podium again👏
Well done Luchon Louron Drag Bicycle Race Team!
It's been a crazy quick trip to Corsica for the french national MTB Enduro championships. There were ferry crossing delays due to the weather and 2 days of racing rolled into one.
Back on the ferry now and heading towards Italy, the long way home to avoid the high winds.
Race mechanic tools and van will be having a little break over winter now before the 2026 season kicks off!
I will be back at the Luchon Bike Centre 9am on Wednesday 😎

Landed in Corsica this morning for the Championnats de France de VTT Enduro (French national MTB Enduro championships)
Perfect position with sea views!
Two full teams currently checking the course out, with the Luchon Louron Drag Bicycle Race Team elite riders joined by the junior team. Full day of racing tomorrow! It will be a busy night ahead prepping all the bikes.
