Dear producers.
You have won one or more medals at our previous Dubai Olive Oil Competition and are therefore among the best olive oils in the world.
In this email, we will explain our marketing strategy and everything we have been doing for several years to create a direct relationship between producers and consumers.
You must know that there are millions of consumers, who want to buy quality olive oils, whether they are health-conscious consumers, or star chefs for their restaurants, all of them say that it is very complicated to differentiate between good olive oils and others.
Until now, olive oils have been divided into two main categories, extra virgin olive oils and others.
To differentiate the quality of olive oils, the only way until now was to participate in competitions.
Some brands have won more than 500 medals in competitions. Yet most consumers have never heard of medals or competitions.
For professionals, there is a website that is supposed to list the best olive oils in the world, when in fact it lists olive oils according to the number of times they have participated in competitions.
An excellent olive oil of 95 out of 100 that participates in only one competition will be ranked much lower than an olive oil of 80/100 that participates in several competitions.
Apart from the competitions, there are the international fairs, where you will find thousands of stands, where each producer will say that he has the best oil, and in the end, sell it as cheaply as possible to a retailer or distributor, who will get all the added value.
We think this system is unfair to producers like you who make a lot of effort to produce quality olive oil. That is why we have decided to create the largest sales network for premium olive oils.
The first step in our sales system is to find the best olive oils in the world, so we have created the Dubai Olive Oil Competition.
We have brought together the heads of panels from the biggest competitions to come to Dubai and select and judge the best olive oils in the world.
The second step was to gather all the winners on a single website, so we gathered all the winners on www.bestoliveoils.store , for each winner we created a presentation page which is a summary of the website of each producer, so that today, a website which gathers nearly 700 presentation pages.
If it is so complicated to differentiate quality olive oils from the low-end olive oils of the mass-market, it is simply because the term extra virgin olive oil means absolutely nothing, apart from having an olive oil with an acidity lower than 0.8%.
So clearly, a lampante olive oil that will be mixed with a low-quality olive oil in order to deceive the analysis to be below 0.8 per cent will be considered extra virgin olive oil as well as an exceptional olive oil with an acidity of 0.1 per cent and exceptional organoleptic values.
It is this designation that makes it impossible to differentiate between olive oils.
All the producers who make quality olive oils wish to differentiate their olive oils from the mixed oils of the large-scale distribution, so we have created the website www.bestoliveoilsranking.com which allows to differentiate olive oils according to their qualities.
Olive oils with a score between 90/100 and 100 out of 100 are now called "Ultra Premium EVOO".
Olive oils with a score of 80/100 to 89/100 are called
"Premium EVOO".
Olive oils with a score of 70/100 to 79/100 are called
"Best EVOO".
Olive oils below 70/100 are not classified and can therefore be called Extra Virgin Olive Oil if their acidity is below 0.8%.
This new designation is a real revolution because it will allow chefs, restaurant owners and consumers to differentiate between olive oils according to their qualities.
Concerning the classification of oils, we will organise a competition by producing country, bringing together the best juries from each country, so that a single competition will allow you to know if you are classified in the Ultra premium EVOO, Premium EVOO or Best EVOO category.

Now that we have found the best olive oils in the world, and classified them according to their qualities, it is time to concentrate on sales.
In 3 years, more than 1200 brands have participated in our competitions, and nearly 700 brands have won one or more medals. Our concrete objective is to concentrate on the 150 most serious brands.
The brands that sell the most online will be the brands that we will place in our shops first.
Our goal in the next 5 years is to open nearly 1000 points of sale, whether physical shops, or departments in specialized shops, airports etc..
We also hope that olive oils will be sold à la carte in the greatest palaces exactly as bottles of wine or champagne are sold.
We have 2 main axes with 2 completely different strategies.
For individuals the strategy is very simple:
Thanks to social networks, it is very easy to target individuals interested in quality olive oils, with effective marketing, it is very simple to make them come to the presentation pages so that they buy online directly.
The places where the most olive oil will be sold will have priority for the opening of the shops.
Currently our targets are the Emirates, France, Germany, the USA and Japan.
We know that marketing is very expensive for small producers, so in order for you to have the best possible marketing at the best possible price, we have decided to set up a marketing team entirely dedicated to the brands present on www.bestoliveoils.store
To do so, you just have to go on the website www.bestoliveoilsmarketing.com and select the marketing actions you want to set up, from small presentation videos to much bigger ones, everything is possible.
For professionals, international fairs remain the best way to present brands.
However 1 stand per brand makes no sense, the idea is to group 100 brands on the same stand, to have olive oils grouped by country exactly as in the shops, to make sure to have translators in all languages in order to be as efficient as possible.
An international stand for a single brand generally costs between 10,000 and 20,000 euros, to have a very small space, and to be in competition with hundreds of other brands
By grouping together a hundred brands on a single stand, it would allow to have a stand worth 200,000 euros, and therefore, to leave no room for competition, whether it be intermediaries, retailers or distributors, none of whom could compete with a stand that gives direct access between the producers and the final buyers.
For 2023 we want to focus on the GULF Food in Dubai and the Fancy Food show in New York,
If you want to be one of the 100 brands, you can register by clicking on this link.

Finally, we are aware of the difficulties concerning the purchase of bottles in Europe, with the war in Ukraine, the price of energy has multiplied by 5, and some factories that produce glass have even decided to close.
In Dubai, as you know, there is no shortage of sand and oil, and that is why 90 percent of the world's production of luxury perfume bottles is made in the emirates, so we are going to offer you very soon, to make your luxury bottles in Dubai, Whether it's 100 ml bottles for restaurants or 500 ml bottles, you can send your olive oil in bulk to Dubai to be bottled directly there and stored in Dubai to be sold in the emirates or sent directly to the United States or Europe.
We sent out an email at the beginning of July about the sale and already 3 million euros worth of premium olive oil is being collected and resold. If you have not yet filled in the form for the sale, please click on this link.
