I want to change a few perceptions on what it takes to make some big profits in the coaching space- and I’m very deliberate with my words here. PROFIT. Because when it comes to a comparison game- my revenue, and my clients revenues aren’t massive.
But the profit and lack of moving parts/ ease… is mind blowing.
I spoke to someone recently- he’s running a $49 event… and has 27 people paid. This then upsells into a $1499… and in about 90 days… he has a change to get them into a recurring $2,000 a month program.
This all sounds great on paper.
But it’s slow.
And the expected revenue from the end of it, is way less than $100,000… Which means, he’s left to replay the same model over and over again… for less profit than is easily on the table.
Where we’ve been different.
Is helping our clients run paid events- at high ticket prices.
It usually means an immediate profit for being in the room for day one is about $40k-$80k… (profits sit around 95%).
And then there’s a natural desire for ongoing support, which tends to bring in about another $100,000+ per year, per client.
What this means is.
From a series of 4 events over 12 months. It can add an extra $400,000 in fees, at 95% profit. For 12 days of delivery.
This is just one service delivery model we help our clients have in their toolbox.

I just know when I’ve been a guest speaker for such events- I don’t enjoy it.
I’ve got people at the front who’ve paid $20k… and people three rows behind paying $50… and we’re supposed to relay the information as if they have all committed at the same level. Which they haven’t. And that’s not where my commitment is.
