CHATEAU VALADE AOC BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR!!

Beautiful ruby color, with aromas of red fruits, this wine appears fleshy and round in the mouth at once supple and fruity with fine tannins, with a nice long finish.

Controls of maturities, mechanical harvesting if necessary in the night to preserve low temperatures. A pre-fermentation maceration lasts between 8-15 days. Natural clarification and stabilization by cold. Aging in vats and barrels (1/2)

Distributed in wooden box of maximum 6 bottles, this range is available for export to a single importer for country. The winemaking process is developed to work only micro-vinified plots of Grands Crus Classés vineyards: four hand picked harvests with a system of freezing berries fruit, of which only 30 % will be finally used to give life to the wine.

Today we would like to present you our AOC Bordeaux red wine X DE BELLIARD: a very special selection for a supple and full-bodied Bordeaux wine.

TERROIR: gravel and sand
GRAPES VARIETIES: 30% Cabernet Sauvignon 70% Merlot

WINE MAKING: Sorting of the harvest, de-stemming and crushing. The maceration and fermentation take place in stainless steel vats..

TASTING: Intense ruby red hue with delicate notes of red fruits. The bouquet is very supple and full-bodied.

ALCOOL: 12.5 %

We can trace the beginings of the Belliard family back to the early fifteenth century in the village of Escoussans (Entre-Deux-Mers). Pierre Belliard planted the first vineyards in 1497. For centuries, the family Belliard sold their wine via the « Place de Bordeaux ». At the beginning of the twentieth century, Roger Belliard decided to develop sales of wine in bottles. A few years later, his son Alain, continued to expand the business by diversifying his networks in France.

In 1997, Alain’s son , Xavier, bought a property in the Graves and Sauternes areas, thus allowing him to extend the range of wines. In 2002 he bought Chateau Renon, situated in the village of Tabanac,this chateau previously belonged to the De Lur Saluces family, owners of the prestigious Chateau Yquem.Today it is the good reputation of Xavier Belliard that sells the complete production in both French and international markets.
