I made the graphics on this carousel myself and I didn’t use Canva. The design composition is my own, the same with every word in my books. None of my work uses AI assistance. This is all me, and my decades of pre-AI experience: I used my own brain. I’ll never stop celebrating human-made art. Writing, music, painting, drawing, science…the list goes on. Nothing compares to human creation. I absolutely HATE that we even have to put disclaimers like this now.
These days, it’s so hard for books to find themselves in the hands of the readers that need/want them. Authors and readers are both at the mercy of the whims of the platforms and AI slop. But I’ll always fight for my handwritten stories.
