Avant la salle des ventes, il y a le temps de l’inventaire.
Un intérieur comme celui de Simone Jaoul et René Drouin ne pouvait se disperser sans avoir d’abord été compris. C’est donc à Neuilly-sur-Seine, là même où il avait vécu, que notre bureau@ader_neuilly a mené ce travail : recenser chaque pièce, l’identifier, l’estimer, puis l’accompagner jusqu’à l’étude, avec l’attention qu’exige une collection pensée comme un ensemble.
Cette cohérence, patiemment préservée, sera révélée le mardi 27 octobre, à l’Hôtel Drouot.

Before the saleroom comes the time of inventory.
An interior such as that of Simone Jaoul and René Drouin could not be dispersed without first being understood. It was therefore in Neuilly-sur-Seine, in the very place where it had been lived in, that our office carried out this work: recording each piece, identifying it, appraising it, then accompanying it to the auction house, with the care that a collection conceived as a whole demands.
This unity, patiently preserved, will be revealed on Tuesday 27 October at the Hôtel Drouot.
