Novaquark, the Metaverse Company, is dedicated to bringing people from across the globe together to breathe life into worlds of their own making. We don’t just dream about the metaverse, we build it, one voxel at a time.

Our unique voxel technology is at the heart of that vision. Our first game, Dual Universe, grandly showcases the power of next-generation voxels. Players are empowered to let their wildest imaginings soar to create stunning buildings and contraptions, fully-functioning vehicles of every shape and size, and awe-inspiring pieces of art without the need to be a professional designer.

We’re just getting started! We have several other projects in the works that leverage the power of our voxel technology, and we need talented and passionate people to help us make them a reality. Come as you are!
Novaquark has offices in Paris and Montreal, both in central, easily accessible locations, and the coffee pot never sleeps in either of them. Want to work from home in your favorite fuzzy slippers? No problem. Our workflows are set up to ensure that remote work is as efficient as it would be in our offices. Oh, and did we mention that we like to have fun while we’re at it? We’re making games, after all! Novaquarkians often meet up, in-person and online, to share food, games, and good times.

Building the metaverse one voxel at a time

Following the recent events related to the COVID-19 virus, Novaquark promptly took actions to protect its staff and prepare as best as possible with its partners and outsourcers. Some of you have already expressed your concerns regarding our staff and the recent outbreak of COVID-19, and we thank you for that.

Currently, there are no reported cases of the coronavirus in any of our staff, and both studios are committed to keeping our team healthy by issuing everyone to work from home. We hope this will not have a major impact on production, and we will do our best to keep on with our current plans.

Now, moving on from one bad bug to another. We’re sure that you’re all aware that last week’s server test was canceled due to server issues. We understand your frustrations, and we are currently investigating this issue. Once this is resolved, we will be looking to open the servers more during this trying time. We know that a lot of you are stuck at home due to quarantine, and would love to play Dual Universe. We’re doing everything we can in our power to make this a possibility.
