You want to know more about who we are and what we do? To refresh your memory, here is a brief summary that tells our tale. Founded in May 2001 by Michael Dupouy & Julien Cahn, La MJC is a communications entity outside the common spectrum of typical parisian agencies. Beginning specializing in special events catering to young urban dwellers, opinion leaders and tastemakers, La MJC has since varied
its activities and proposes today a wide range of services (eCommerce, publishing, PR & communication consulting, Product design...) Media & Brands alike often reiterate that the main strength of La MJC is its ability to captivate and bring together a young, creative and dynamic audience around its projects, to be always in tune with the current, and anticipate for today what will be the future of tomorrow ! Understand, anticipate and adapt : whether that be event conceptualization, production design or publishing a work, La MJC offers a perspective focused on the future. Being relative to a certain demographic has allowed LaMJC to master the in's and outs of these social & cultural networks, providing a major advantage to be at the heart of those who make the trends. Our ability and strong relationships with prestigious cultural domains in fashion, music, art and film have provided us a distinct circle of friends, supporters and readers adding a higher value to our company. The first agency identified as specialists in street culture since its' creation in 2001, the first to have forecast the internet as its principal media platform for its generation (our first site was published in June 2001) and definitely the first to propose a weekly online newsletter 100% dedicated to street culture. La MJC is proud today to possess such a varied and numerous subscriber list thanks to its many years of international online communication throughout the years. A demographic often difficult to capture and gets its' attention, for ten years now, La MJC has become "the preferred agency" of brands weary of communicating towards young urban consumers and adapting to special projects through supported speech & communication. Since 2006, La MJC produces, publishes and distributes the street culture reference book appropriately entitled "All Gone". These series of books are considered a true annual bible and pay homage to the best creations of the street scene & offer a window for the most iconic actors of the street culture movement (brand founders, artists and mythic shop references).
