Voici LOVESONG, la nouvelle bottine Nomasei sur talon kitten.

Pour cette nouvelle bottine, je voyais une allure Ă  la fois rigoureuse et rebelle, alors j’ai puisĂ© dans l’univers de Karole Armitage, la « ballerine punk » amĂ©ricaine qui mĂȘlait la grĂące du ballet Ă  l’énergie brute de la musique punk dans le New York des annĂ©es 80.
Son nom, LOVESONG, chanson de The Cure, ajoute un certain romantisme à cette bottine hyper féminine.

LOVESONG c’est une bottine aux lignes pures, prĂ©cises et soignĂ©es mais pensĂ©e pour danser, vivre intensĂ©ment et s’affirmer avec force face au monde.

Ok, so the shoes arrived late (at the very end of the first Day of opening because they were stuck at customs) but once they arrived, the Noamsei magic happened again! You are here, visiting us and making us so proud!

New York, we are open! And we finally received the shoes!!

Fortunately we could show the next summer collection to all the wonderful women who came this morning! The winter stock got stuck at customs so we opened this morning with only some samples to show but problem solved, after hours on the phone and a million e-mails, our shoes were released and arrived yesterday evening 😅

LA NOMASEI FAMILY♄

Irùne Kim, personal stylist and writer of “In Moda Veritas” Substack, wears Nomasei in her daily life and answers our questions.

- What’s your job and how would you describe it ? Half of my job is what you’d expect: research, sourcing, shopping, styling, editing - all the practical and creative work that goes into building a wardrobe. The other equally important half is more intimate. In many ways, being a personal stylist is a bit like being a therapist. Clients let me into the private corners of their lives — not just into their homes and wardrobes, but they also share their insecurities, changes they’re going through, and new chapters they’re stepping into. A big part of my job is listening closely and reading between the lines to understand who someone is and what they want, even if they’re not quite able to articulate it yet.

- What’s your mantra ? « Will this be important ten years from now? On my deathbed?” guides my behaviour and *considerably* narrows down what I’m willing to focus my energy on. On the opposite end of the spectrum: “Are you present in this moment? » reminds me that life is just the sum of a series of present moments, most of which I seem to spend worrying about the future or ruminating on the past. See also: “The Summer Day” by Mary Oliver.

- Your best trick to fight stress ? Sleep. Restorative yoga. Taking slow, deep breaths while lying on my back in savasana. Belly laughs with loved ones. Full body hugs with my husband, kids, or even a pillow or stuffed animal. Getting out in nature, preferably where I can see the horizon. 

- How do you feel in your Nomasei ? Comfortable! Like I got it going on!
