Sabre de bataille signé de la Manufacture de Versailles, œuvre de Nicolas-Noël Boutet, attribué à Joachim Murat, Grand Amiral de France, maréchal d’Empire et ancien roi de Naples.
France, Premier Empire, Versailles vers 1805 – L. 93,5 cm.
Monture d’un raffinement exceptionnel en acier bleui et or, ornée de figures mythologiques emblématiques (Mars, Apollon, Neptune), fusée en ivoire, lame marquée Klingenthal.
Fourreau en chagrin noir aux garnitures en or finement ciselées et poinçonnées de la Manufacture de Versailles.

An exceptionally refined hilt in blued steel and gold, adorned with emblematic mythological figures (Mars, Apollo, Neptune), ivory grip, blade signed Klingenthal.
Black shagreen scabbard with finely chiselled and hallmarked gold mounts from the Manufacture of Versailles.
