Happy New Year from Women in Business Sciences Po!
As we begin this new year, we are pleased to introduce our 2024 team, who has been working behind the scenes since August to bring you another year of impactful events and initiatives.
At WIB, our mission is to empower, connect, and advocate for women in business and finance. Our work is guided by three core objectives:
📌 Sharing inspiring women’s experiences in and outside of finance: We highlight the journeys of accomplished women across industries, providing students with real-world insights into diverse career paths. Through conferences, fireside chats, and mentorship opportunities, we offer valuable perspectives on leadership, career growth, and overcoming barriers in competitive fields.
👥 Creating a supportive community: WIB fosters a strong, inclusive network where students can exchange experiences, seek guidance, and support each other in their academic and professional endeavours. By connecting students across different master’s programs and career interests, we create a space for meaningful conversations and long-lasting connections.
🍸 Organising events that contribute to closing the gender gap: We are committed to addressing gender disparities in business and finance through concrete action. Our events—ranging from networking sessions to skill-building workshops—are designed to empower students with the knowledge and confidence to navigate male-dominated industries. By bringing together students, professionals, and alumni, we contribute to fostering greater diversity and inclusion in leadership.
