Happy Friday
 but I’m tired too. 😅

I’ve been with one of my employers for seven years, and every Friday, I follow almost the same routine.

This is what most Fridays look like.

Cook. Clean. Prepare. Repeat.

And sometimes, I ask myself


“Is this how it’s always going to be?”

As an immigrant, I’m grateful to have work.
My job has helped me survive, pay the bills, and support my family.

But honestly, I get tired too.

And that’s one of the reasons I started building my online business.

It’s not perfect yet.
I’m not at the finish line.
I’m still learning, still working, and still showing up.

But I have an affirmation for myself:

By next year, I want to be in a position where I can reduce some of my jobs—not because I’m giving up on work, but because I’ve built another option for myself.

To all the immigrants and overseas workers who are tired but continue to keep going


Your situation may not change overnight.

But you can start creating a different future today.

At 55, the last thing I wanted was another job.

After almost 30 years of having someone else decide when I work, where I work, and when I can rest — while still juggling three part-time jobs and home baking on weekends — I never imagined myself starting something online.

But what caught my attention was that this wasn’t about adding another job to my schedule. It was about discovering a different way of building something for myself.

🏡 PLACE FLEXIBILITY
I’m not tied to one office or one location. I can work on my business from home, during my commute, while waiting somewhere, or wherever I have my phone, laptop, and internet connection.

🕐 TIME FLEXIBILITY
I can work around the life I already have. Before work, after work, during a break, or on the weekend. I still have responsibilities, but I can decide when I give time to building my business.

đŸ’» PROVEN SYSTEM
I didn’t have to know everything before I started. There’s step-by-step training, tools, guidance, and a community to learn from. I simply continue learning and applying what I learn one step at a time.

🌍 GLOBAL MARKETPLACE
This is one of the things that really opened my eyes. I’m no longer limited to people who live near me or within driving distance. The online world gives me the opportunity to connect with people from different cities, countries, and parts of the world.

📚 ABILITY TO LEARN
Maybe this is my favorite part. At 55, I’m learning things I never thought I could learn — technology, social media, digital marketing, and even more about myself. I don’t need to know everything today. I just need to be willing to keep learning.

And yes
 does it still require work? Absolutely.

It requires time, consistency, patience, learning, and showing up.

But there’s one big difference:

❀ I’m putting that effort into building something of my own.

And at 55, that gives me a new kind of excitement for what I can still create for my future.

Maybe the answer isn’t working more hours.
Maybe it’s learning how to build another source of income alongside what you already do.

Watching my son play basketball made me think

In the game, you can’t score if you never take the shot.

And sometimes, ganun din tayo sa buhay. We see an opportunity, we become curious, but then we hesitate—“Baka hindi para sa akin. Baka hindi ko kaya.”

I was like that too when I discovered this online business. I didn’t know everything. I wasn’t a business expert, and I didn’t have all the confidence in the beginning.

But I decided to take one small shot—to learn.

And that small decision introduced me to another possibility outside of just working every day.
