Pierre Mertens left this evening for Moshi, Tanzania, to start the preparations for the upcoming opening on 3 December 2025 of the 16th House of Hope, the Global Centre for Accessible Care, and the art project. In the forthcoming week, we'll keep you updated on his stay, encounters, and preparations.

For those who wondered whether we changed the date for our project, Covers for the World, we did indeed. Due to the election in Tanzania on 29 October, we were advised to postpone out of safety concerns for the children. We will now organize the opening of the 16th House of Hope, the Global Knowledge Center for Accessible Care, and the art project in Moshi on Wednesday, 3 December, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The dates for the crowdfunding campaign have been prolonged accordingly.

Pierre Mertens will travel next week to Moshi to start the preparations for this day, and we will update you regularly.
