The Lafon-Rochet chapel is decked out in autumnal colours
Built by Frédéric Audon, owner of Château Lafon-Rochet, and Lilian Ladouys in the late 19th century, the chapel, situated in the grounds, remains consecrated to this day. It conceals a technical feat for its time: a reservoir at its summit once supplied the château and the cellars with running water.
It is from this chapel that our second w**e takes its name, Les Pèlerins de Lafon-Rochet, in homage to the pilgrims on the Way of St James who travelled along the coast from Soulac-sur-Mer to reach Spain.
