FUNNY MOMENT —The « Double-Decker » Porsche Incident (2015)

Jules Gounon’s most famous crash in a Porsche occurred during the 2015 Porsche Carrera Cup France at the Circuito de Navarra, where his car landed perfectly on the roof of another competitor’s vehicle.

This bizarre accident happened during the second race of the weekend on September 27, 2015.
A chain reaction at a tight corner sent Joffrey de Narda spinning.

As Gounon attempted to navigate the chaos, wheel-to-wheel contact with Alexander Cougnud’s car acted as a ramp.
Gounon’s No. 169 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car was vaulted into the air and came to rest directly on the roof of de Narda’s 9 car.

While the visuals were spectacular, de Narda was unhurt.
Gounon initially appeared fine but was later diagnosed with two fractured vertebrae.
