Been having a big tidy up ready for next season

Had a go couple of mates over for the weekend
Caught a few fish biggest being a 35,8 grassie and a 28 grassie
But we dropped more than we caught

Had a friend Lee Smith and his daughter Rachel here for 24 hours
Lost count of how many fish were caught but it was over 40
Rachel was winning with a 30lb 8oz grass carp until Lee had a 34lb 8oz mirror recognised as a fish called lumpy
A really good time was had by all
Especially Rachel who upped her pb from 6lb
To 30lb 8oz
We’ll have to do it again before the weather changes guys

We had John Longhurst and his wife Claire , sister Karen and granddaughter Hope
They were here for two weeks and managed to catch 40 carp which was good angling as the weather topped 40 degrees
They enjoyed there selfs so much they’ve booked a month next year

We had Geoff and Maddie Benfell on the lake last week
Collectively they had 43 fish in the week including a33lb mirror and a greedy 27lb mirror who came out twice 😂

On the lake today we had one of our regulars Mr Bob Benson
Caught two fish in the morning a 22lb 10oz common and a lovely mirror of 30lb 8oz
You’ll have to excuse the way Bob is holding the fish as he has nerve damage in his right shoulder

We had a couple of French lads on the lake yesterday Steven and Cedric
Between them they had 12 fish including two thirties
Apparently they dropped 9 fish which would have meant a really good day
But as it is they went home really happy
Looking forward to seeing them again very soon

Had 2 hours on the lake this afternoon one rod
Resulted in 5 fish including these two beauties
No scales estimated early thirties

We had two lovely families here for the past 2 days from Coventry Gheorge and Gheorge and their lovely wives and daughters
What with the weather change the fishing was a bit slow but they still managed to catch three fish to 20lbs
Wonderful polite families
