✨ Celebrating 5 Years of Oriana Consulting ✨

Yesterday marked 5 years since I started Oriana Consulting, and I honestly can’t quite believe how quickly the time has flown by.

Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients across a wide range of industries — from Tech companies and Jersey Payroll, to Human Resources teams and Funeral Directors. Each sector has brought its own challenges, learning opportunities, and rewards, and I’ve loved every step of the journey.

Running my own business has been incredibly fulfilling. It’s been busy, challenging, and at times demanding — but above all, it’s been something I’ve truly enjoyed and feel very proud of.

A huge thank you to all of my clients, past and present, for your trust, support, and continued collaboration. I wouldn’t be here without you.

Here’s to the last five years — and to everything still to come. I’m very much looking forward to the future of Oriana Consulting.

Many of my clients need help with their social media content.

They simply haven’t got the time to create new posts every week and it has started to stress them out, so I have been busy on Canva creating content for them and scheduling it for Facebook and LinkedIn.

💡 When something doesn’t quite add up… dig deeper!

A client of mine recently noticed that, despite having management accounts produced by their head office, something wasn’t aligning when it came to weekly spending and budgeting.

They had multiple invoices going out every week—but no clear way of tracking where exactly the money was going. There wasn’t the budget for a full finance system at the time, so I created a bespoke master spreadsheet to track all incoming invoices against the correct management codes.

And I’m so glad we did…

🔍 It quickly became clear that some invoices were being mis-coded by head office, skewing the numbers and suggesting overspend in the wrong places.

📊 By realigning the codes and establishing a clear, real-time view of expenditure, we’ve now got a much more accurate picture of weekly spend and overall profit and loss.

It’s not always about fancy software—sometimes it just takes a bit of structure, problem-solving, and a fresh pair of eyes.

👋 Hello, I’m Emma – the face behind Oriana Consulting!

I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself for those of you who are new here or have been quietly following along.

I’m a Virtual Assistant based in France, although I’m originally from Jersey, and I set up Oriana Consulting back in 2020 to help busy professionals and businesses find more time, clarity, and calm in their day-to-day operations.

Feeling very grateful this week 💛

A huge thank you to one of my lovely clients who surprised me with a mini "Girl with a Balloon" sculpture—knowing how much I love Banksy’s work.

It might seem like a small gesture, but to me, it speaks volumes. It shows just how strong the working relationship we’ve built is—grounded in mutual trust, respect, and genuine connection.
