🇯🇲💿 OUR BIGGEST VINYL COLLECTION EVER — 10,000+ RECORDS!

Some collections are more than just records. They're a lifetime of music, memories and history.

We recently purchased the largest vinyl collection we've ever acquired in Jamaica — over 10,000 records! 🔥

The collection belonged to a Jamaican man who spent part of his life living in the UK before returning home to Jamaica.

From Jamaica to the UK and back again… thousands of records travelled with him, carrying decades of musical memories.

And now, this incredible collection has found a new chapter with YardGroove.

📸 SWIPE THROUGH THE 5 PHOTOS to discover a little piece of this amazing find!

💬 Imagine going through 10,000+ records… Which artist or label would you hope to find first?

🇯🇲 AUGUSTUS PABLO — THE SOUND OF A LEGEND 🎹

Born Horace Swaby in Kingston, Jamaica, Augustus Pablo turned a simple melodica into one of the most iconic sounds in reggae history.

In the early 1970s, his unique, haunting melodies brought a new spiritual dimension to roots reggae and dub.

From “Java” to “King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown”, his music helped shape the golden era of Jamaican music.

A true pioneer. A timeless sound. A legacy that lives forever through the grooves of vinyl. 🔥

Respect to the Original Rocker. 💚💛❤️

🇯🇲💿 CLEAN LABEL OR A PIECE OF HISTORY? — PART 2

Would you reject a rare Jamaican 45 because of writing, stamps or stickers on the label?

Take a look at this vintage Merritone pressing of So Weary by The Minstrels.

Old stamps, handwritten marks, stickers… Not exactly a collector's idea of a perfect label!

But here's the thing…

🔎 These little imperfections can tell a story.

A record that has travelled through record shops, private collections and perhaps even sound systems over the decades.

Of course, a clean label is always nice. But when it comes to Jamaican originals, does a marked label really matter if the music sounds fantastic? 🔥

💬 LET'S HEAR FROM THE COLLECTORS!

🟢 TEAM HISTORY — I love records with character!

🔴 TEAM CLEAN — I prefer my labels spotless!
