During the International Space Summit, HEMERIA announces that it is joining Saber Astronautics’ RSOC Space Domain Awareness Marketplace.
HEMERIA will make its space surveillance data available through the RSOC SDA Marketplace, expanding the range of independent commercial data sources available to satellite operators, governments and defence organisations.

Nicolas Multan, Chairman of HEMERIA, comments: "Joining the RSOC SDA Marketplace represents an important milestone in HEMERIA’s international development and reinforces our ambition to play a leading role in the future of Space Situational Awareness.

🛰️ YODA PROJECT: MONITORING SPACE FROM SPACE

With space security high on the agenda at next week's International Space Summit in Paris, it's a fitting moment to highlight one of our flagship projects.

Awarded to HEMERIA by CNES, the YODA project aims to design and supply a demonstrator made up of two reconnaissance smallsats in geostationary orbit, now entering the AIT phase (Assembly, Integration and Testing) at our facilities.

🌌 They are being developed for the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA - Direction générale de l'armement) and the French Space Command (Commandement de l'Espace) to help protect French military satellites from suspicious or potentially hostile manoeuvres, while supporting three key objectives:

- Validate the technologies used in approaching a satellite
- Determine the proximity operations payloads
- Train the Space Command operators for operations in Space

⚙️ YODA project combines innovation and operational capabilities to address the new challenges of the space domain.

🛰️ SWING: 1 SMALLSAT, 5 EUROPEAN PARTNERS

The SWING mission has reached a new stage in its development!

The four payloads are now fully integrated into our smallsat bus. Mechanical and electrical coupling have been completed and communication links have been established. 🔗

These instruments, delivered by European partners, will provide complementary data to advance space weather monitoring:

- DREAM, developed by CNES and STEEL Electronique (France), is a radiation monitor.
- XFM-NS, developed by Isaware (Finland), is an X-ray monitor.
- mNLP, developed by EIDEL AS (Norway), is a Langmuir probe designed to measure plasma properties.
- Aquila, developed by Syntony GNSS (France), is a GNSS Radio Occultation instrument.

Once in orbit, SWING data will go through the mission operations center provided by our partner Planetek Italia (Italy). It will deliver processed data to European Space Agency - ESA, feeding numerical space weather models to provide more accurate ionospheric forecasts for the user community through the ESA Space Weather portal. 🌌

We are especially proud to coordinate this complex end-to-end ESA mission, bringing together a strong European expertise.

Ce matin en Charente, à l’occasion de la journée Aérostats organisée par E.Space Aero, Charlotte Voisin, Responsable Commerciale Ballons chez Héméria, est intervenue lors de la table ronde « THA : enjeux et souveraineté », aux côtés du CNES, d’A-NSE, de Zephalto, de Thales Alenia Space (Stratobus), de l’Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace, de la Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile et de x721.

Cette table ronde a été l’occasion de rappeler les enjeux stratégiques de la Très Haute Altitude (THA), tant pour les applications civiles que militaires, et de souligner son rôle croissant en matière de souveraineté.

Placée sous le signe de la convivialité, cette journée a réuni les principaux acteurs de la filière des « plus légers que l’air », favorisant des échanges riches, le partage d’expériences et le développement de nouvelles collaborations.

Un grand merci à E.Space Aero, ainsi qu’à Slawy Thierry et Sébastien Griveau, pour l’organisation de cet événement et la qualité des échanges.

📅 Le vendredi 31 juillet, à l’Aérodrome de Mainfonds, les acteurs des filières Aérostats, THA et Drones se réuniront pour une journée consacrée aux évolutions des technologies aéronautiques.

À cette occasion, Charlotte VOISIN, Responsable Commerciale ballons, participera à la table ronde « THA, enjeux et souveraineté ». 🗣️

🎯Un temps fort qui permettra de croiser les expertises ainsi que de favoriser les collaborations entre les acteurs de la filière aéronautique.

Customer achievement: the new Electro-Optical Tracking System of the French Navy instrumentation ship “Monge” is operational!

Recently, HEMERIA’s team has successfully completed the final acceptance test of the new Electro-Optical Tracking System (EOTS) set up on the French Navy instrumentation ship “Monge”.

This state-of-the-art EOTS was delivered under the “TMS” contract signed between HEMERIA and the DGA - Direction générale de l'armement (DGA, French military procurement agency). This contract aims to design, manufacture and maintain the multi-sensors EOTS for the French Defense test centers.

The EOTS for “Monge” came with several design and integration challenges as operations aboard a ship are very specifics and complex. Our team took part to several trials at sea alongside DGA team and “Monge” crew to finalize the calibration of our sensors. They included for instance the tracking of high-speed aircrafts.

The “Monge” EOTS has best-in-class accuracy, achieved by its highly stabilized pedestal and its 6 optical sensors covering the entire spectral range. Generally speaking, HEMERIA’s EOTS offers real time trajectory and tracking of several targets, video and data recording, integrated mission planning, simulation and real-time data fusion. Next to the optical sensors, some of our EOTS also include ranging sensors such as doppler radars and laser range finders.

HEMERIA will deliver the next batch of EOTS to the DGA in the coming months.

Congrats to the HEMERIA team involved in the project! Thank you DGA for your trust, we are proud to contribute to French sovereignty.
