Rachel Chantal, a renowned expert in French etiquette and its elegant subtleties, is the founder and director of Formaluxe (www.formaluxe.fr), a French consulting and training firm specialising in luxury. Since 2008, she has worked alongside luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, shops and other prestigious establishments to help them perfect the elegance and excellence of their customer relationships, in a demanding environment where the art of hospitality and etiquette are expected signatures.
Her job consists of carrying out “excellence of service” audits, followed by tailored training courses and conferences to better support and coach directors, managers and operational teams on their path to excellence and relational elegance. With both enthusiasm and rigour, she reveals each individual’s strengths and areas of improvement, assisting them with their image, verbal, written and gestural elegance, courtesy and good manners, managerial elegance and intercultural elegance.
She also provides training in good manners to luxury clientele who want to learn more about the rules of French etiquette, particularly at the table and in social situations, at both private and professional events.
She holds an MBA from the Higher Institute of Luxury Marketing – Sup de Luxe, a Master’s in International Marketing and Business and is certified by HEC Executive Education Programmes Courts. She is also a certified Trainee by the Hague Protocolbureau, Practitioner in Synergology and a certified expert by the ICPF and PSI. She works in France and abroad, sharing her expertise in made-to-measure workshops in French and English.
She occasionally gives talks at universities and conferences, which many say are powerful and motivating.
