Le design produit, le design industriel. 🔧

Product design, industrial design. 🔧

Some clients don't want to reproduce a part. They want to create one. So we create it, plain and simple.

We don't start from a part to scan. We start from a need - a use case, a constraint, a problem to solve. And we build around it, one iteration at a time.

It always starts with a sketch: volumes, ergonomics, control layout - before any CAD, to find the right balance between what the client has in mind and what we can offer.

Shown here: a control unit, first iteration of many. A client project just getting started, with plenty of ideas still to explore.

First post about this new activity, so let me know what you think in the comments.

EN / The site is live. For real this time.

After months of scanning parts, modeling, delivering ,all of it quietly, ExactShape Solutions finally has a place to call its own.

3D scanning, reverse engineering, CAD modeling, mechanical animation. Real projects, before/after visuals, a clear process.
And a project intake form built the right way : context, part description, available files, expected deliverable, everything scoped before the first conversation.

What happens to that request next... more on that soon.

Built for people with an actual technical problem to solve.

🧩 QuickSurface reverse engineering – Fast demo
ExactShape Solutions workshop | 👉 Follow for the full video

This short timelapse shows how the window hull of a wing tip was recreated in QuickSurface.
The surrounding thermoformed frame wasn’t part of the reverse engineering.

From scan to part – full workflow with the Miraco Pro.
1️⃣ Scan in RevoScan
2️⃣ Reverse engineering in Quicksurface
3️⃣ Parametric CAD in Fusion 360
4️⃣ Final part 3D printed in polycarbonate

This kind of project shows how 3D scanning and reverse engineering can turn unavailable parts into robust, functional solutions. Always excited to push these workflows further – and curious to explore what the new MetroY Pro will bring to this kind of work.
