🎓 Excited to share a milestone moment!

Just completed the LVMH Inside course and passed the final exam with a 94% pass, diving deep into the heart of luxury and innovation across 75+ prestigious Maisons within the LVMH ecosystem.

On top of the generic topics offered I chose to specialise in my favourite topics:

- Creation & Branding
- Retail & Customer Experience

Over 4 intensive modules, I explored Retail & Customer Experience, Creation & Branding, Operations & Supply Chain, and delved into various métiers that shape this dynamic industry.

It's been an incredible journey unlocking insights into the craftsmanship, creativity, digital ecosystem/e-commerce, innovation, sustainability, inclusivity, diversity and global impact of LVMH.

This experience is meaningful to me because it reaffirms the importance of continuous learning.

Staying ahead means evolving with the latest trends, honing skills, and embracing cross-industry knowledge.

The opportunity to learn from experts and peers across different domains has been invaluable.

Here’s to embracing growth, staying curious, and being inspired by the limitless possibilities ahead!

Thank you, LVMH Inside, for this enriching experience! 🙌

Let me reintroduce myself.

For those who know me you probably do from my time in London or south of France/Monaco during my Fraser Yachts or Camper & Nicholsons International yachting and Hawker Beechcraft or Boutsen business aviation days.

Not ashamed to say it, the Covid pandemic led to closing my French Sarl company earlier this year that catered for luxury brands in all that was marketing, PR, events and social media.

A natural evolution to moving region completely led me to pursuing what I occupied myself with during lockdown - sustainable crafting.

Using eco responsible materials, imagination and my passion for styling and photoshoots, a year and a bit on, my work has featured in numerous magazines and media worldwide.

Then there are luxury weddings. Proud to say my last My Riviera Weddings shoot in Monaco was with Monte-Carlo SBM and as a result several enquiries booked for 2022. I'm moving it all up though being more focused on the the Pays de Loire area like the many castles, the Island of Noirmoutier, Yeu or Nantes.

I also assist an association in Vendée dedicated to crafters made up of over 100 members now since less than a year as vice president.

Lesson learnt - you never know where you will end up but hold your contacts close.

Highlight of 2021 - speaking to a class of MBA students at Munich Business School about luxury and my professional career.

Most shared thing I've featured in - speaking on a Luxury series as a luxury professional airing on Channel 5 originally and which over 3 years has crossed the globe in many languages and TV stations since.

Future plans - that's for you to find out by following me.

Most fun act of 2021 - helping my dear friend organise, be heard and seen with her Je t'aime photo art project that debuted at the Cannes Film Festival.

The bad news - no-one got close to employing the creative me 😂

The good news - I do freelance from a UK company.

If it's the right fit, tickles my creative buds and has something innovative associated to it, then am on.

I'm delighted to announce that I've been appointed Vice President for the regional association of the 85 region of France called Les Créateurs de Vendée, a non-profit association with the aim to support, promote and welcome a community of sustainable crafters.

Since nearly a year now, I've been developing Made With Love by Natalia, whose aim is to help empower a new generation of eco-conscious luxury consumers by enhancing their natural beauty and confidence with locally handcrafted, sustainable embellishments.

"Because nature is a gift and so are YOU - live, respect and be it."

I am honoured and thrilled to be joining forces with one of the Riviera's most talented photographers, Sarah Stefani Wedding Photographer, a friend and the artist behind many of my visuals as well as avid ambassador to my values and brand, to enter The Mark Challenge by International University of Monaco.

We are team FashZen!

A CONVERSATION ABOUT PERCEIVED VALUE:

A customer asked a contractor friend of mine how much it would cost to do this project.

My friend gave him a proposal: $4500

The customer responded: That’s seems really high.

My friend asked: What do you think is a reasonable price for this job?

The customer answered: $2500 maximum

My friend responded: Ok, then I invite you to do it yourself.

The customer answered: I don't know how to.

My friend responded: Alright, then how about for $2500 I'll teach you how to. So besides saving you $2000, you'll learn valuable skills that will benefit you in the future.

The customer answered: Sounds good! Let’s do it!

My friend responded: Great! To get started, you are going to need some tools. You will need a chop saw, table saw, cordless drill, bit set, router, skill saw, jig saw, tool belt, hammer, etc..

The customer answered: But I don't have any of those tools and I can't justify buying all of these for one job.

My friend responded: Ok. Well then for an additional $300 I can rent my tools to you to use for this project.

The customer answered: Okay. That’s fair.

My friend responded: Great! We will start the project on Monday.

The customer answered: I work Monday through Friday. I’m only available on the weekends.

My friend responded: If you want to learn from me then you will need to work when I work. This project will take 3 days so you will need to take 3 days off work.

The customer answered: That means I’m going to have to sacrifice my pay for 3 days or use my vacation time!

My friend responded: That’s true. Remember, when you do a job yourself you need to account for unproductive factors.

The customer answered: What do you mean by that?

My friend responded: Doing a job completely from start to finish includes time spent to plan the project, pick up materials, travel time, gas, set up time, clean up, and waste disposal amongst other things. That’s all in addition to the actual project itself. And speaking of materials, that’s where we will start on Monday so I need you to meet me at the lumberyard at 6:00am.

The customer answered: At 6am?!! My work day doesn’t usually start until 8am!

My friend responded: Well then you’re in luck! My plan is to start on the deck build by 8am. But to do so we have to start at 6am to get materials picked up, loaded and delivered to your job site.

The customer answered: You know, I’m realizing that a lot more goes in to a job than what a customer sees in the finished project. Your proposal of $4500 is very reasonable. I would like you to handle the project.

CONCLUSION:

When you pay for a job, especially a custom job, (whether it’s a physical project or digital project) you pay not only for the material and the work to be completed. You also pay for:

✔️ Knowledge
✔️ Experience
✔️ Custom Skills
✔️ Tools
✔️ Time to plan
✔️ Time to prepare
✔️ Professionalism
✔️ Work Ethic
✔️ Excellence
✔️ Discipline
✔️ Commitment
✔️ Integrity
✔️ Taxes
✔️ Licenses
✔️ Sacrifices
✔️ Liabilities
✔️ Insurance

If you request a proposal for custom work to be done, please don’t disrespect a service provider by trying to get them to lower their prices.

If their proposal exceeds your budget, there’s nothing wrong with getting other proposals.

Just remember.. you get what you pay for.

👉🏼 SERVICE PROVIDERS: Know your worth and be confident in it.

👉🏼 CONSUMERS: Recognize their worth and be respectful of it.

Sharing this to support all my friends, family and clients who are Entrepreneurs, Business Owners and Tradesman.

To all my hard working ladies I salute you!!! Keep up the good work and please never settle know your worth.
