Retour sur une jolie Marine d'Hippolyte Lety de 1911, "Les Vagues à la Ciotat", qui a visité mon atelier au tout début de mon installation en 2020, après que le tableau ait eu la fâcheuse idée de chuter sur une chaise, ou l'inverse, je ne sais plus bien ^^
Au programme :
-Petit puzzle et aplanissement à froid des morceaux de toile ne tenant parfois plus qu'à un fil, mais sans aucune pièce manquante par chance !
-Puis consolidation de la déchirure complexe avec pontage et renfort d'une pièce en fibres de verre
-Allègement d'un vernis légèrement oxydé
-Et enfin masticage et réintégration colorée dans de doux tons bleutés :)

🇬🇧 Back to a lovely 1911 Marine by Hippolyte Lety, "Les Vagues à la Ciotat", which visited my studio at the very beginning of my installation in 2020, after the painting had the unfortunate idea of falling onto a chair, or the other way around, I'm not so sure ^^
On the agenda:
-Small puzzle and cold flattening of the pieces of canvas sometimes hanging by a thread, but without any missing pieces by chance!
-Then consolidation of the complex tear with bridging and reinforcement by a fiberglass piece
-Removal of a slightly oxidized varnish
-And finally filling and retouching in soft bluish tones :)
