Our recyclable shelters are the only ones in the market containing recycled content - we are currently at 35% recycled polymer across the entire range, and our goal is to increase that to 100% in the shortest time possible. Where recycling is not feasible, we recommend our Tubex Nature (tubex.com/nature) biodegradable tree shelters, tested to biodegrade in soil and made from a bio-based blend. From France to Wales 🇫🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It's great to see one of the first large-scale tree shelter collection and recycling operations take place in France.

Working alongside ONF, E2D and our French distributor Idelys, several hundred used tree shelters were collected in northern France and returned to our recycling facility in Wales.

A huge thank you to everyone involved. Initiatives like this show how collaboration across the supply chain can help keep valuable materials in use for longer.

Everybody loves the sunshine, but what does it mean for our trees?

Summer brings higher temperatures, dry soil and competing vegetation which all put extra pressure on early growth, right when establishment matters most.

That’s where tree shelters can help.

Thanks to everyone who joined us in Aberdare for our Customer Day!

It was great to welcome customers and partners to see more of what happens behind the scenes at Tubex.

Throughout the day, our guests were able to go on three live tours of the site, covering our production lines, the Collection & Recycling Programme, and the testing work taking place in our lab to help improve our shelter’s performance and quality.

The conversations we had during these days were hugely valuable, and it was amazing to have so many people from the forestry industry all together and collaborating for one true goal – for the trees! 🌱🌳
