This was a great evening for the Brechin City Vs Hearts football game. We had an amazing time working alongside the Brechin city home stewards again but on a much larger deployment than normal to ensure the safety of the fans coming to support their teams!

This operation would not have been successful if it wasn’t for the support from DGF Communications LTD for supplying our radios and body worn cameras, to also ensure the safety of our stewards and the prevention of crime.

It was great getting some of the team together to have some food and drinks, to thank them for being apart of the MBS family. Without them we wouldn’t be here today. Also thanks to Ooters for hosting our night. It was an amazing night with some great food!

Every year we like to donate something to the communities across Aberdeen - this year we donated a load of selection boxes to the Kermit club in Torry! We will also be donating another 50 selection boxes to a chosen charity or play group, so, if you have any recommendations please let us know!

The snow may have slowed but with the temperatures now dropping for the evening, the risk of ice on the roads and paths increases.

The Met Office is expecting icy patches through the night into tomorrow, especially on untreated roads.

If you must travel:
❄️ Move off in 2nd gear to help reduce wheel slip
❄️ Slow down to allow more time to stop & steer
❄️ If you do skid, steer gently into it

From 7pm until late there will be live music from Smokin’ Velvet and a raffle with great prizes including voucher, voucher, signed Aberdeen FC shirt and many more.
