Morning folks,

We hope you're well this dreich morning.

We thought we'd share a wee post to cheer everyone up.

This year, some of the boys in the office are taking part in Movember to raise money for the fantastic St. James's Place Charitable Foundation.

We'll share our just giving link in due course.

We'll be sharing before, progress and after photos so you can see how we are getting on.

Here is a quick photo of Scott at the moment, sporting the Silver Fox look. In 10 days time it'll all be gone!!!!

Who fancies a very special giveaway?!

Once again this year we are the main sponsors of the Aberdeen Football Club Hall of Fame Dinner, being held at the fantastic Marcliffe hotel.

The event takes place next Thursday evening, the 29th of October. We start at 6:30pm with a VIP Drinks reception in the Courtyard, with carriages at 1pm.

The lucky winner, and their guest (both must be over 18 years of age), will attend the event as our special guests.

Inductees include Robert Connor and Andy Considine, amongst others.

This is a night not to be missed for any Dons Fan, but especially those who followed the team during Alex Smiths reign as manager in the late 80's/early 90's.

To be in with a chance of winning the tickets, do the following:

• Follow our page
• Like and share this post
• Tag who you'd bring along with you

The lucky winner will be announced by C.O.B. on Friday.

It goes without saying this is only open to Aberdeen supporters.

Scott's having IT issues today, so traded in a weekend at his desk with a wee dog walk in beautiful Stoney.

What you guys up to this weekend?

This is exactly the reason why Scott started Friday Flowers all those years ago.

In the main, we never know what anyone else is going through/dealing with etc, out with our own nearest and dearest.

We send Friday Flowers, just because......

The fact that they are so graciously received, the fact that we've made that persons day, then that is what it is all about!!!

It was lovely to welcome Billy Thomson to our Queens Gate office today to accept a cheque from the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation.

Billy is a volunteer with a great local charity called the Grampian MS Therapy Centre who do great work in and around Aberdeen.

We wish you, and all involved with the Charity, our very best wishes in your continuous fundraising endeavours.

Scott recently had a great couple of days down at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, supporting the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation.

It was great to spend some time out of the office with other SJP Colleagues, Foundation reps, as well as some clients.

The match between the English and Celts ended in a draw so the spoils were shared.

Most importantly, a brilliant £50k was raised for the Charity!!!

The Foundation has donated a phenomenal £150million since it's inception and we continue to do great work nationally and locally in the Aberdeen area too.

If you know of any worthy charities that we can support then do let us know!!

Have you thought about how important money skills are for kids today?

Teaching kids about money can start really young, and there are lots of fun ways to do it. Simple things like planning a budget for a day out or saving for a toy can really help them learn.

Getting hands-on with money helps them understand saving and spending, and why waiting to buy something can be a smart choice. It builds their confidence in making decisions and shows them what money is really worth.

Talking about money at home - like how to budget for holidays or manage family expenses - can help kids learn these crucial skills.

How are you teaching money management to the kids in your life?
