As you may have noticed, our social media landscape has been shifting… gone are the days of true connection on these platforms, where we’d regularly see our internet friends in real time and get to meaningfully support their endeavours.
Now, we’re just bombarded with ads and content dictated by the algorithmic (CEO) overlords instead. I mean, when was the last time you saw an organic real-time post from one of your pals?
Unlike the astrology under which many of the big social media platforms were born over the last 15 years, the current weather, which has just shifted once again, looks more like little pockets of connection popping up here and there, hosted away from the centralised corporate enterprises we’re all used to using (and, being used by) — the Neptune in Aries era looks very different to the Neptune in Pisces period that has just ended.
