Another classic little handrail completed and fitted for a customer in Portlethen.

An elegant design that complements the entrance of this propery beautifully. Finished in an off-white colour which blends in perfectly with the surrounding stonework and patio.

The rail was zinc rich primed and powder coated for a durable and long lasting finish.

Sometimes the simplest designs make all the difference ✨️

Another bespoke project completed by ProFlux Weld & Fab! 🔨👌🏻

New stepped railing panels and a matching pedestrian gate to accommodate the slope. Designed, fabricated and fitted to complement the property's existing driveway gates. Matching rings, decorative spearheads and scroll details bring the whole entrance together. ✨️

Hot-dip galvanised for corrosion protection, then powder coated in satin black for a smart, durable, low maintenance finish. 🖤

Next up, the landscapers will complete the entrance steps and remove the planting and foliage directly behind the railings, giving the finished metalwork room to stand out. 🌿

The latest gate to leave the Proflux workshop, now installed at its new home in Ellon! 🔥

A proper custom piece, with a curved flat bar arch incorporated into the box section frame. The decorative rings across the centre, shaped hammered bars and custom scroll latch give it plenty of character.

The satin moss green powder coat was the customer’s choice, and I think they absolutely nailed it.

A true one off piece hanging very proud.

Another job completed today ✨️

Brand spanking new aluminium mud skip lid fully fabricated with additional bracing H-section manufactured, delivered and fitted for a regular client, alongside multiple repairs carried out on their existing skips.

Everything completed, signed off and ready to go back into service. Great to see the new lid fitted and sitting exactly as it should. 🔥

Plant Trailer Ramp Modification completed ✔️

A local electrical contractor approached Proflux Weld & Fab looking for a practical solution to load and offload a low-clearance scissor lift from his plant trailer.

The existing raised lips along both sides of the ramp restricted access and needed to be removed. Once cut away, heavy-duty angle sections were fitted and fully welded into position, creating a stronger and more accessible loading surface for the scissor lift.

A robust, purpose built modification that retained the trailers strength while adapting it to suit the customers equipment and working requirements.

Another practical solution and another happy customer.

Another stunning bespoke installation completed for a West End Aberdeen property ✨️

This traditional double gate was individually fabricated to suit the property, combining classic styling with heavy duty construction that's built to stand the test of time.

Featuring decorative finials, elegant scrollwork, trophy post tops, heavy duty painted adjustable hinges, and a fully galvanised steel construction with a premium matte black powder coated finish, every detail has been carefully considered.

Front Garden Gate Refurbishment ✨

This tired rusty gate was given a complete new lease of life!

✔️ Existing gate and posts removed
✔️ New steel posts fabricated and fitted
✔️ Gate modifications carried out
✔️ Adjustable eye bolts installed for a perfect fit on the existing granite walls 🏡
✔️ Professionally sand blasted, zinc prime and finished in a durable satin black powder coat

Older stone walls are rarely perfectly plumb, so adjustable eye bolts were the ideal solution to achieve smooth operation and even gaps throughout.

The result! A gate that looks as good as new while retaining all of its original character.

Another happy customer and another quality refurbishment completed to the highest standard.

Another one completed by Proflux Weld & Fab ✅

Custom fabricated and installed front double bi-fold gate set with an additional single pathway gate, finished in a clean satin black finish with bespoke decorative inserts to make it personal to the customer.

This project involved careful design and precise measurement to work with the existing posts that had previously been installed, followed by fabrication, finishing and final installation to ensure everything lined up perfectly and operated smoothly.

Attention to detail matters. Consistent gaps, solid construction, smooth operation, nylon pads in wear locations and a finish built to last.

Proud of how this one turned out. Jobs like this remind you that good fabrication isn’t just welding steel together.. It’s about creating something that looks right, works right and adds real value to the property ✨️
