Busy day today for Minerva Risk Group at the AECC Offshore Europe 2017 in Aberdeen. Its safe to say after brisk walk down Union Street this morning, That the iconic early 80's Rapper Whodini with his cult song 'Freaks Come Out at Night' has clearly never visited Aberdeen lately !

40 years to this day Elvis passed away. In 2002 I had the privelige to work with Priscilla Presley at the Oscars event and after show parties in L.A. I was asked by one of The Big Breakfast presenters from the UK who was interviewing on the press line at Spago Beverly Hills and reporting live to the UK at the time, who I was working for as he saw I was waiting for someone to come out the facility and clearly heard my accent! I went on to tell them my principal was the wife of a man of great stature and had been discribed during his career to be God like and often described as 'The King' and left it at that... He about fell away when he saw Priscilla coming out and making her way to meet me ! Great days and memories I will never forget?

The second terrorist attack in as many weeks, killing and maiming innocent people living and going about their lives peacefully in Manchester and London, is a direct attack on our way of life. Deeply saddened for those dealing with the loss of their loved ones and all those affected by these events, and exceptionally proud of the outstanding response again by the emergency services, we are also galvanised and even more determined to better prepare to meet this insidious, evolving threat head-on in any way we can, within our communities.
