This stunning frame is an 'Albert I'm Stein' model Champagne. We were asked by our client to ensure absolutely the thinnest, flattest lenses for the patient. Our client requested our top tier Snowdon lenses, a Camber Technology varifocal in 1.74 index. We created the end result with our usual manual craftsmanship to ensure the very finest pair of spectacles will be supplied to the end user. Unique!

This is the Pier Martino that we have custom made for a clients patient that is getting married in June. She is petite and required the eyesize to be reduced by 4mm in order to achieve a comfortable fit and fantastic appearance. Our client is an expert in dispensing of spectacles and gave us detailed instruction of what was required. We glazed a pair of demo lenses so the patient could see how the end product would look. We have now glazed the Snowdon 1.67 Camber varifocals to this beautiful rimless frame, the lens edges have been carefully buffed to a high gloss that matches the Diamante adornments on the temples. We wish the end user all the very best for her big day in June.

This reglaze has turned spectacularly, the lenses, a pair of our Cadair Idris in Photofast Grey, are less than half the thickness of those in the frame before, yet only 0.75 difference in the max combined power. We hope the end user is as pleased as we are with the final appearance.

Sometimes a job just turns out superbly. This is one of those jobs, a good thing as they are for the most important person in my life! This is a BLOC optical frame model OPT004-11, a wonderfully light weight frame in a stunningly simple crystal grey with polished metal sides. This is glazed with a pair of our Cadair Idris varifocal lenses in polarised brown with a copper mirror and concave HMC. They look absolutely first class.😎

This is a lovely job, the lenses are high index 1.74 with a super premium coating. Max combined power in the right is -12.00. Expertly dispensed by our client into this lovely Radley Ezrah frame with a small eyesize such that substance can be kept minimal the lenses just disappear into the frame front with just under 3mm protrusion at the right temple. Of course, all manually finished for the absolute best appearance possible.

A classic wraparound, this Oakley has been reglazed with high base Transitions XtrActiv. As with all of the jobs glazed in this Glazing Lab this has been manually finished such that the safety edge is functional but not overstated. As a courtesy to our client we have changed the nose pads and fitted temple covers, non genuine, but will make the frame comfortable to wear again.

This lovely tortoiseshell coloured frame is a Hook model Stardust. The finish has a very pleasing high gloss with the 'Hook' insignia detailed at both temple edges of the frame front. This has a pair of Cadair Idris varifocals tinted to match the frame finish. As is usual with our lab this has been glazed in the traditional way for a hand crafted pair of spectacles from start to finish. This is one of a fantastic range of frames that can be brought to your home in Somerset or Devon, professionally dispensed to your requirements by and then hand made for you in our glazing laboratory here in Abergavenny. When completed the finished spectacles will be brought back to you and adjusted to your exact requirements for comfort and optical supremacy.

This is a Dunelm frame, model Chantelle, glazed with a pair of Cadair Idris varifocals in a 1.6 index and a premium coating. These are beautifully lightweight and will be comfortable for the end user. The Cadair Idris lens is fully digitally surfaced and is available in a choice of designs. It has proven itself to be a fantastic choice for many of our clients.
