It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved 'Big Boss,' John Gobourn, who left us on Friday 2nd October after a short illness.

John was a larger-than-life figure, not just in his presence, but in his character, and spirit. His unparalleled knowledge of our industry was matched only by his dedication to our team. He leaves behind a legacy that we will proudly carry forward, and he will be profoundly missed by every single one of us.

Out of respect, our offices will be closed on the day of the funeral. We will share further details once the date has been finalised.

NOTICE - We are currently unable to accept fridges and freezers

Unfortunately, circumstances beyond our control have resulted in a temporary disruption to the processing of refrigeration appliances;
the temporary suspension follows ongoing disruption to the reprocessing of refrigeration appliances at external treatment facilities with the UK fridge disposal sector facing a severe capacity crisis driven by facility fires, site closures, and storage limits.

A growing number of councils are warning they may have to stop accepting fridges and freezers for recycling due to constrained capacity.
