Although I didn't make it through as a finalist this time, we're still looking forward to attending the awards with our friends from Mini & Mighty who are finalists in THREE categories!! 🤩🥳
We'll be cheering them on as well as so many other local businesses we know and love.

Too busy working to fix what isn't working? That sounds familiar...

Being "too busy to fix the [admin, workflows, processes, systems]" is something I've heard time and time again. But nothing changes if nothing changes, right?!
It's a red flag when the person who needs things to change can't take the time out to change them. 😬
I'm not judging, but if that's you, it shows that you are working for your systems, rather than your systems working for you and I have the utmost empathy.
It’s a cycle that eventually leads to burnout which I have seen and experienced.

Breaking that cycle starts with a single diagnostic session. So let's do it.

The CRM Black Hole ⚫️

I have heard the same issues with CRMs time and time again - it's not functioning, not serving the business, too complex, not enough data, too much useless data (and so on!)

A CRM is only useful if it’s actually telling you something, managing a process for you, removing tasks or decisions, or generally doing what the platform told you it would do when you signed up all those months ago, full of hopeful enthusiasm!

If yours is just a list of names you haven't spoken to in six months then it's more of a graveyard than a tool. Utilising the software you're already paying for ensures that your leads are actually being nurtured and you're not throwing money down the CRM toilet.

Here's the honest truth about every CRM I have ever worked with:
If you don't put the data in and spend time building your workflows (or pay an external provider to do it) then none of them will be the solution you were hoping for. They all need more input than we'd like but when it's working how you need it to? ✨️ It's magic ✨️

Systems aren't just about being organised, although I do LOVE creating some order amidst chaos! Really, they are about the bottom line. I once helped a client recover £100k of lost revenue simply by spending time in their existing system. The software had great capabilities but, as owners still working full time in the field, they simply hadn’t had time to get in their CRM and find the issues. Once we cleaned up the mess, we changed the process to stop the invoicing bottleneck occurring again.
That wasn't about working harder, I just found and then closed a gap in the system that no one had noticed.
Troubleshooting more than pays for itself when you stop losing money through the cracks.

I often hear the same thing from business owners: "everything is a mess" and they fear they need a total overhaul which is not always in the budget (time or money-wise!)

Usually, they just need a diagnostic to get things moving in the right direction.
