A very Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all my customers, followers and friends.
I want to particularly apologise to those I have been slow getting back to.
The last two years have challenged me with a lot of anxiety, self doubt and a process to find myself again.
This picture taken on the 24th, as I finished my work day, illustrates big changes.
I was able to capture this thanks to having been cycling for the last two month.
I had both wanted and hesitated to convert to using a cargo bike for my work.
My work journeys are fairly short and confined to the inner ring road. And being eco friendly, it made sense to convert to cycling.
But I hesitated.
I was afraid it might add to my tiredness and physically challenging.
It has however proven deeply enjoyable. My ability to overtake bad traffic, my improved fitness and my ability to stop on a cycling lane and take in the beauty of what surrounds me have made it incredibly positive. .
When I started Greenway, I had at heart for the eco friendliness to be more than just virtue signalling.
From the relationship to customers, the products and processes I use, to transport and and coworker treatment.
I suffer from a terrible imposter syndrome, and often felt I am not doing enough.
However, with the recent switch to cycling, I am rediscovering that there is joy in what I do and that every day is a step forward.
The picture i share is such moment of bliss.
So I want to apologise to all those I kept waiting. Please bare with me, change is coming.
