What a year! As we look ahead to the new year and try to slow things down a little for the festive season ahead, we look to celebrate some achievements and thank our wonderful staff for their continued commitment to the Enigma Group. Over the past week Sonya, our Managing Director, has been out and about to personally to reward and thank a few special members of our team who have made a huge difference this year and gone the Enigma extra mile.
Rewards have been given to :
ASAD - Enigma Employee of the year.
FIASAL- Hackle Employee of the year.
BROMLEY CCTV - Team of the year.
Our Enigma employee of the year was truly heroic when he saved the life of another security officer. Our Hackle employee of the year has shown over the years strong commitment to our client and always goes, 'The Enigma Extra Mile'. Our CCTV team of the year have continued to work with huge team spirit, supporting each other through tricky times and difficult circumstances always with the best attitude. We salute and thank you for your efforts and wish you a happy new year.

The latest headlines on drones and their ability to be used for negative reasons, such as delivering weapons and drugs to prisons falls outside of how we are using drones at Enigma Security Solutions. With our future focused strategies we are always looking to see where we can add value (not just financial) and enhance our service offerings for customers.
We are always embracing the latest technology to bolster our security provisions. Adding drones to improve the outcome of patrols fortifies the layered protection approach we use by strengthening prevention — which is always more effective than relying on a response.
While not right for every setting, drones have become a powerful deterrent where wide coverage is key. They save time, reduce manpower needs, and send a clear message to anyone testing our operation:

We had a great conversation with clients last Friday about how tech like this is shaping the future of frontline security and I enjoyed hearing their side of what this technology looks like from the buyers side.

It is only right to call a Security Officer and ‘Officer’.
Security Officers will have had training to acquire a licence. Training to understand the specific nuances of the environment they work in and as an employee at Enigma they will have a Personal Development Plan!
Every Security Officer who works for Enigma is a full-time employee, they are valued, have rights and are able to become a more informed person through the training channels we provide. This benefits our Security Officers personally and the communities in which they work; it also benefits our customers.
Security Officers often go beyond what is expected or part of their assignment instructions. They are usually the first person to witness an incident or even be involved in an emergency. With training, our officers have confidence to act calmly and in accordance with what is necessary. Their role is not just about enforcing rules or monitoring cameras (or being a beacon of safety), it is about being reliable, having a visible presence and making people feel safe.
This kind of work can go unacknowledged, so today we salute YOU! And thank the quiet guardians of public and private spaces.

How do you navigate the loss of a colleague, friend and teacher? Enigma Security Solutions is at a loss today. We have had to say a final farewell to one member of staff who has been part of the Enigma Family since the very beginning. John Proudman has throughout the last 25 years shared is expertise and knowledge with every member of the team. He has shown kindness and care to everyone he’s worked with. His commitment to the business, to our customers and employees alike, to compliance, and to the control room has been integral to the fabric of Enigma. He will be missed by us all. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family and hope that, in time, they find comfort in the profound impact he had on those around him and the lasting legacy he leaves behind at Enigma.

This Months Management Meeting was both a recognition of recent achievements, new mobilisations and a special occasion for Sonya Webley (our managing director) who was celebrating her birthday! These gatherings are a valuable way to connect in person with colleagues we often only interact with via email for weeks at a time! Sharing our successes and strengthening relationships face to face makes us a strong team. And of course, who doesn't want to eat cake at 8 am on a Monday! Management Meetings this year have taken on a new approach with each team member actively participating and contributing, even presenting information in a fresh and, on occasion, challenging way! The take away this time was a new out look on KPIs and a very useful stress ball!
