This month, we’re delighted to shine a light on one of our brilliant Associates, Elsa Wye - a warm, knowledgeable and incredibly relatable Health & Wellbeing Coach who truly walks the talk.

With 20+ years of leadership experience across corporate and not-for-profit sectors, Elsa now specialises as a Workplace Wellbeing & Stress Management Consultant, supporting individuals and organisations to thrive in the real world of modern work.

Elsa blends evidence-based wellbeing with real-life pressures - making change feel practical, personal and achievable.

Most recently, Elsa delivered a Menopause Awareness session for a financial services client, attended by 100+ people and the feedback was fantastic! Her ability to create a safe, engaging space for open conversation around what can be a sensitive topic is one of her superpowers.

Whether she’s coaching one-to-one, facilitating workshops, or inspiring leaders at Board level, Elsa brings clarity, compassion and confidence to every session.

As a working mum of two teenagers, Elsa deeply understands the juggle of career, family and personal wellbeing - and it’s this lived experience that gives her work such authenticity.

Her philosophy is simple (and powerful) - true wellbeing is holistic, practical and personal. No quick fixes. Just meaningful, sustainable change.

What Elsa supports with:

➡️ Stress, energy, sleep, nutrition & lifestyle balance
➡️ Menopause & hormonal wellbeing
➡️ Executive & Board-level wellbeing
➡️ Workplace talks, workshops & wellbeing programmes
➡️ Building positive, sustainable wellbeing cultures

💛 Why we love working with Elsa:

✅ Values-aligned and mission-driven
✅ Expert yet refreshingly human
✅ Inclusive, engaging and pragmatic
✅ A genuinely positive force for change

Elsa is a passionate advocate for healthier, happier and more sustainable ways of living and working, and we’re proud to have her as part of our Associate team.

If you’re planning health and wellbeing initiatives this year - or you’re a leader wanting to prioritise your own wellbeing - reach out to arrange an initial conversation with Elsa.

In the meantime, let us know - what wellbeing topic feels most relevant for you or your organisation right now?

As the year comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the incredible people and organisations we’ve had the privilege to support - and our overwhelming feeling is one of deep gratitude.

This year, together, we’ve supported hundreds of individuals through coaching and leadership development - in rooms filled with energy and connection, and virtually with just as much depth and meaning. We’ve continued to partner with long-standing clients who trust us with their people, and we’ve welcomed new organisations and leaders who have enriched our work with fresh perspectives.

Across the year, we’ve seen people take bold career steps, grow as leaders, navigate change, and make personal decisions that have transformed their lives. These moments - big and small - remind us why we do what we do.

To our wonderful Talent Performance team and associates; thank you for your creativity, commitment, and willingness to push our thinking. And to our collaborators and partner organisations - your expertise and heart have strengthened both our organisational development and our client-facing delivery. We’re so grateful for everything you bring.

This year also saw further refinement of our service offering, with an even clearer focus on strengths-based leadership development, career growth, and positive psychology. We’re looking forward to unveiling new services next year… more on that soon.

In a world and economy that continue to bring uncertainty and challenge, we are constantly reminded what a privilege it is to do this work. We never take for granted the trust people place in us to support their growth, their teams, and their organisations.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re energised by what’s to come - new ideas, new collaborations, and continued opportunities to help people and businesses flourish.

We hope this holiday season gives you the space to pause, reflect, recharge, and celebrate the progress you’ve made this year.

Wishing you a joyful festive season and a bright, hopeful start to 2026✨

As year end approaches, many line managers are gearing up for performance reviews and development conversations.

But these conversations are far more than a process or an HR requirement.

They’re one of the most powerful opportunities you have to strengthen capability, build trust, and co-create development plans that genuinely help people grow.

Handled well → team members take ownership of their development, feel valued, and gain clarity on their future.

Handled poorly → conversations become rushed, vague, or transactional, leaving people uncertain and managers overloaded.

A strong development plan isn’t a list of training courses. It should be:

🔹 Personalised - built around strengths, motivations, and aspirations
🔹 Aligned - connecting personal growth with organisational priorities
🔹 Practical – focused on real experiences: stretch work, shadowing, mentoring
🔹 Clear & measurable – simple actions, realistic timelines, meaningful success markers
🔹 Co-created – owned by the individual, supported by the manager

When this happens, the payoff is huge: higher confidence, stronger engagement, deeper capability, and healthier retention.

Why does supporting managers in these conversations matter?

✔ Employees stay longer when they feel invested in
✔ Trust grows when leaders show genuine interest in people’s futures
✔ Succession pipelines strengthen through intentional development
✔ Accountability becomes shared and sustainable

Here's our 6-step approach to building impactful development plans:

1️⃣ Start with a real, two-way conversation - explore aspirations, motivations, interests - not just performance.

Ask:
• What would you love to learn or try next year?
• Which parts of your role energise you most?
• Where would you like more confidence or capability?

2️⃣ Reflect on the past year openly - discuss strengths, growth, and challenges in a constructive way.

3️⃣ Prioritise 3–4 meaningful development areas - focus on what will create the most value and momentum.

4️⃣ Turn priorities into measurable, practical actions -stretch assignments, project leadership, mentoring, shadowing, training, skill practice - with clear success measures and timelines.

5️⃣ Define ownership and support - employee → action, progress, reflection
Manager → resources, access, feedback, advocacy

6️⃣ Build in regular check-ins - monthly or quarterly, to keep development alive all year.

Creating an environment where career conversations happen naturally, consistently, and with impact doesn’t happen by accident. It requires shared language, capability, and confidence at every level.

Through our range of career development solutions, we help organisations create cultures where growth conversations thrive, managers feel equipped, employees feel empowered, and development becomes an everyday habit—not a once-a-year task

Authentic leadership isn’t just a nice-to-have - it’s a performance multiplier.

In today’s fast-moving and complex business environment, trusted, authentic leadership drives stronger teams, higher engagement, and measurable business outcomes - from sales to customer satisfaction.

But here’s the challenge:

✅ Developing authentic leadership at scale requires commitment
✅ It needs senior buy-in and sustained culture investment
✅ And it starts with insightful diagnostics

💡 That’s where StrengthscopeLeader® comes in.

Unlike traditional feedback tools, StrengthscopeLeader® uses 360 input from all directions - peers, direct reports, managers, and stakeholders - to give a full, honest picture of leadership impact.

But it doesn’t stop there.

It adds a unique strengths-based lens, helping leaders identify what energises them and how those strengths are perceived across the business. This creates more self-awareness, more trust, and ultimately, more authenticity.

Here’s what it delivers:

🔍 Uncovers blind spots across levels
🧠 Builds emotional intelligence & self-awareness
🚀 Accelerates meaningful leadership growth
🤝 Boosts trust and psychological safety
📈 Scales from execs to emerging leaders

The outcome?

Leaders who align their values with their behaviours - and show up authentically in times of complexity and change.

And the feedback speaks volumes:

"The most helpful 360 feedback I’ve ever received—it’s actionable, positive, and strength-focused."

Powerful intention setting is different to goal setting and it could be a game changer for your professional success and personal happiness in 2024. Here's how......

Goals - are quantifiable and time-bound targets that contribute to growth and success. They are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART), outlining clear benchmarks and milestones. Examples include achieving revenue targets, launching new products, or expanding market share.

Intentions - focus on the underlying principles or mindsets that guide actions and decisions. They shape the culture and ethos of an organisation, define how teams collaborate, innovate, and approach challenges. Intentions could revolve around fostering a culture of innovation, promoting inclusivity and diversity, or prioritising sustainability in operations.

Simply put intentions and goals work wonderfully together but intentions are more the 'how' and the 'why' of the goals. Combining business strategies with intentional clarity can be really powerful and ensure our goals and actions have meaning and purpose.

Try these 5 strategies for setting powerful intentions in business for 2024

1. Align with strategic objectives - start by aligning intentions with overarching business goals and values. Ensure that these intentions complement and reinforce the company's mission, vision, and long-term strategic plans.

2. Clarify and operationalise your intentions - while intentions are abstract concepts, translate them into actionable behaviors or initiatives. For instance, if the intention is to foster a culture of innovation, establish processes or forums that encourage idea sharing and experimentation.

3. Communicate and reinforce - share these intentions transparently across the organisation. Ensure that everyone understands and embodies these intentions in their day-to-day work. Regularly communicate progress and celebrate achievements related to these intentions to reinforce their importance.

4. Measure and evaluate impact - define metrics or key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with your intentions. Regularly measure progress and assess the impact of these intentions on the business. Use feedback and data to refine strategies and adapt where necessary.

5. Encourage adaptability and learning - intentions aren’t set in stone. Encourage a culture of adaptability and continuous learning. Be open to adjusting strategies and intentions based on changing business landscapes or feedback from stakeholders.

Let me know what you think.....does intention setting resonate for you?
