Taking the equine 4x4's out for some 'off roading' on Halkyn mountain. They just love it - ears forward and ready for action.

I'll be honest, it was really dry and scorched in places, with evidence of bush fires. It seems crazy that we are in drought conditions and it's only just August.

But Halkyn mountain is a fabulous place to ride, stunning views of the Wirral estuary on one side and the Welsh countryside on the other.

Don't you just love it when they predict rain, you're expecting to get drenched, and it's dry and sunny for the whole ride :) Today was a treat, a lovely route from Delamere around Norley. So many quaint Cheshire cottages, canter bridlepaths and I swear, there seemed to be horses and stables in virtually every field we passed.
Thank you Steph and Puzzle for a super outing.

With arguably the best views in Cheshire, the Bosley ride is stunning from start to finish. Thank you Forest Hills Hotel Frodsham for hosting us. You were brilliant.

We were delighted to welcome the North Cheshire Riders NCR and their horses to Forest Hills Hotel today 🐎
