A gas mains strike is one of the biggest risks associated with excavation.

Our team supported gas main works in Chertsey to make way for a new road project with safe and controlled excavation, helping expose and access the existing infrastructure ready for diversion works to continue smoothly.

Peekaboo… 👀 Not the average view for the ops today 😅

The team have been busy cleaning gravel out from inside a salt filter tank in Bristol to prevent residue build up and minimise risks from using degraded filtration materials, safely removing material, and helping get the system ready for the next stage of works.

Our team were tasked with carefully uncovering two water mains, a main electric line and a sewage pipe, all located within the same area and contributing to repeated problems. Working in a controlled and safe manner, each service was fully exposed to give clear visibility and allow further investigation into the root cause 👷‍♂️🚧
