Start yours or your child's day with a couple of these gentle exercises.

Now I do need to note:

*These exercises are not a cure all*

In recent conversations with a social worker- I explained if we treated ALL children as if they are neurodivergent, by that I mean use neurodivergent strategies for ALL children then we would probably have better outcomes but by treating a possible neurodivergent child as neurotypical (until a diagnosis is given) then there could be untold damage done. And that is the same here. If we encourage ALL children to take part in these exercises, then there may be some improvements for those who are ND. At worst they are a few exercises done each day, at best they may help a ND child integrate their primitive reflexes which may in turn help some of the things that they may struggle with.
