Job description:
Landscape Operative

Based in Cumbria may work away but travel in company van and if accommodation is needed that is paid for by us.
40+ hours per week, 50 weeks per year
Monday to Friday; 07:30am - 16:30pm times vary may be shorter

Pennine is a commercial landscaping company, we have been in operation since 2005. We carry out contracts nationwide, our passion is to maintain and create landscapes while keeping the client, the public and our employees our main focus.

The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Landscape Operative to join our team. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and if you would like to gain knowledge and operate one of our grass cutting machines then apply for this role today.
Main responsibilities for the Landscape Operative: - Self Employed
General maintenance on site (for example, grass cutting, strimming, planting, w**d control using chemicals, seeding, etc)
Use of the usual range of tools and equipment and ride-on mowers and remote-controlled mowers.
Oversight of the correct usage and maintenance of equipment and vehicles
Interpretation of plans, site preparation, soft landscaping
The Landscape Operative candidate must:
Have a valid CSCS card
A driving licence would be preferred
Work as part of a team
Thrive to maintain high customer satisfaction
Pass site induction drug and alcohol test
fit for work medical required (we book these)
This job is on a self employed basis but we can also offer employment options
- paid fortnightly
