Kim Lund - Funeral Celebrant working hard as usual - doing what she loves!

One of the real privileges of being an independent celebrant is working alongside funeral professionals who share the same values.

Today's ceremony was the first I've had the pleasure of conducting with AW Funeral Services Ltd. A family-run business, Alan and his sister Donna had many years of experience in the profession before establishing their own independent funeral services. From our very first conversations over the past few weeks, it was clear we shared the same goal of working closely together to ensure the family received the very best farewell possible.

Today's ceremony was delivered with such professionalism, dignity and genuine care. Everything ran seamlessly, communication throughout was excellent, and their calm, compassionate support for the family was evident in every detail.

A funeral is never the work of one person. It's a team effort, with everyone working together behind the scenes to give a family the farewell their loved one deserves.

It was a genuine pleasure to work alongside Alan and Donna today, and I look forward to many more opportunities to do so in the future. 🤍
