Just letting people know I'm still trading as normal. My website has disappeared. I'm failing miserably in trying to contact Weebly, and the site provider, lots of 'page not found' and '404' when trying to contact customer support or view my website.
I think Weebly is no more.

I'm currently looking into other website builder sites to create a new website.

Urgent safety warning issued for 85,000 tumble dryers
Households have been urged to check their tumble dryer after an urgent safety warning was issued by the Office for Product Safety and Standards.

A total of 85,000 integrated heat pump tumble dryers made by Haier are affected by the problem, which can cause the machine to set alight.

Owners have been told to stop using them immediately.

Affected brands include:

Baumatic
Candy
Caple
Haier
Hoover
Lamona
Iberna
Montpellier.

This is a serious fire hazard, so check your appliance urgently.
To check if your machine is impacted, check the model number and serial number on the government's website.

If it is, stop using it and contact the manufacturer to arrange a repair.

The appliance must not be used until the repair has been completed. If the plug is accessible, owners should switch off and unplug the appliance.

Sue Davies, Which? head of consumer policy, said: "People with tumble dryers manufactured by Haier will understandably be worried about what this announcement means for them.

"The Office for Product Safety and Standards needs to ensure affected machines are fixed as quickly as possible and that affected customers are identified and know what to do so they are not left with a fire risk in their home this Christmas

Some good tips on this listing especially from the Essex Fire And Rescue Service.

Follow our advice to stay safe using your tumble dryer:

* Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions
* Don’t use tumble dryers at night or while unattended
* Clean the filters after each use to ensure they do not become blocked with fluff
* Items should be removed from the dryer immediately after the cycle and shaken loose to assist cooling
* Make sure that the appliance has its own plug socket. Do not overload extension leads. Make sure that no more than 13 amps are in any one plug socket.

One more tip from me,
In my experience, another cause of tumble dryer fires is stopping it mid cycle while its still hot.
If you want to stop it early before its cooled, advance the program to the end cool down period first. Once cooled remove the laundry.
Stopping it while hot and just leaving the door open is not enough and unsafe.

Firefighters are praising residents in Kirby Cross for their quick actions to call us when they heard their neighbour’s smoke alarms going off when a tumble dryer caught fire.

Watch Manager Gary Clarke from Weeley Fire Station said: “We’d really like to thank the neighbours for their quick actions to call us and we’d encourage everyone to act quickly when hearing smoke alarms. If they’re yours going off, get out of the house safely and call us and if it’s a neighbour or you’re passing by, please act quickly to dial 999.

“This incident also highlights how vital it is to have working smoke alarms at home. The residents had been using the tumble dryer earlier in the day and although they had switched it off and unplugged it after use, lints/oils inside had been smouldering away and eventually caught the appliance alight. Their working smoke alarms alerted neighbour’s quickly to the fire and meant we were called to the scene as quickly as possible.”

If you charge your phone under your pillow... STOP.!
Covering devices, particularly while charging, can cause them to overheat.

🔌 Always leave electronics in open air, away from flammable items like bedding.

Charging your gadgets on your bed or under your pillow is a fire risk - don’t chance it!! It’s really not worth it.

A lucky customer who was unaware of a potential major problem brewing. I found this while attending to her washing machine. The pin on this box adapter was clearly overheating, melting the plastic insolation and body.
Over the years I have found a few problems with these adapters.
Please, don't use them especially on appliances that have heaters in them.
