🚀 GoFibre is expanding!


We’re continuing our full fibre rollout across rural North East Scotland, bringing fast, reliable broadband to even more communities in Angus, Perth & Kinross, and Aberdeenshire.


We've connected Edzell, Inverbervie and Longforgan. We will now be adding premises in Montrose, Dunkeld, Bankfoot, Newtonhill, Portlethen, Alyth and Coupar Angus. 🙌


That means homes and businesses can now enjoy speeds of up to 1Gbps. Perfect for those who work remotely or enjoy a video game!


And it’s not just about better broadband 👇


Our growing network helps to support the local economy by creating up to 180 job roles across the rollout.

Our build assurance engineer Amy attended Longforgan Bowling Club's open 4s competition this month! 🌟

It was great to see everyone geared up for the competition, even our mini Digby tried to grab a trophy.

🏴 GoFibre at Cortachy Highland Games 🏴

On Sunday, 14th June, GoFibre will be heading along to the Cortachy Highland Games at Cortachy Castle, Kirriemuir. While we won’t have a stand on the day, we’ll be there to cheer on the Valhalla Highland Strongman Stone Put event, which we’re proud to support.

We can’t wait to see the strength and skill on display — it’s always an incredible part of the Games and a brilliant celebration of Highland tradition.

And they coudl be the only folk in Scotland with more strength than our broadband connection.

Turns out you can get city-speed broadband without actually living in the city.
Across North East Scotland, some of the first homes and businesses in Angus, Perth & Kinross and Aberdeenshire are now officially going live on the GoFibre network 💚

Families, farmers and local businesses in places like Ezdell, Inverbervie and Longforgan are among the first connected, with Auchenblae and Letham also expected to go live later this month. And honestly, this is what it’s all about for us.

Helping rural communities stay connected, helping local businesses compete without fighting slow broadband, and making sure people in smaller towns and villages can access the same reliable full fibre you’d expect in Scotland’s biggest cities. The rollout forms part of Project Gigabit, with GoFibre helping connect around 63,000 hard-to-reach premises across the North East.

We’re also really proud to be backing the local community in Longforgan through a new partnership with Longforgan Bowling Club 💚
The sponsorship will provide new competition jackets for players and see us become a named sponsor for the 2026–2028 seasons.
Because for us, it’s never just about broadband. It’s about investing in the communities we build in.
