It’s no surprise that our vice-chair Fiona Fotheringham snagged the prize of Best Networker!

Join us for a ProMo Business Update on Thursday 11th June from 6:30pm at the Montrose Playhouse.

We’d love to share what we’ve been working on, give you a first look at our brand new website, and introduce our new membership schemes designed to help bring businesses and our community together in conversation and collaboration.

The evening will begin with a short presentation in the Activity Room (car park side), followed by the chance to stay, chat and network in the bar afterwards.

Whether you’ve worked with ProMo before or are just curious to hear more about what’s happening in Montrose, we’d love to see you there!

Our search for a first-of-its-kind Regeneration Officer was so successful, we've built an entire team around the role.

Fiona Marshall, Owner of Klarean Limited, has been appointed as Regeneration Officer Lead, joined by Lucy Nicholl, Founder of Nicholl HR as Deputy, and Lauren Simpson, a third-sector and community partnership expert, as Regeneration Support Officer.

With the team now in place, three initial projects have been identified to drive forward. These include the development of both the town's community centre (in partnership with Arbroath FC Community Trust) and the Old and Abbey Church, alongside a programme of improvements to the town centre itself, spanning lighting, an artwork trail and more.

To help deliver projects going forward, the team will be establishing sub-groups and is actively looking for volunteers from across the community. No specific background or experience is required, just time, enthusiasm and a desire to help shape Arbroath's future.
