associates is an independent design consultancy specialising in structural packaging. Over the years we have designed iconic packs for brands, such as Boots, Johnson & Johnson, Guhl, P&G, Cussons, Wella, Vidal Sassoon, Impulse, Toni & Guy, Coty and Rimmel. Our creativity and innovation are backed up by a sound knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, allowing us to work tightly within m

anufacturing and cost constraints. So whilst our packs are often ground-breaking, they are always practical and cost-effective. We also understand how environmental factors, such as recycling, composting, lightweighting, reusability and material choice can affect a design and how they can be used most appropriately and effectively, not only to help the environment, but often to save money too. Our recent book called “Why Shrink Wrap a Cucumber?” is a real-world practical guide to designing and specifying environmentally friendly packaging.
