Go a little easier on those around you today.

Don’t underestimate the impact that the news of the queen’s passing might have on people - there’ll be a lot of different emotions floating around, all of them valid.

I’m not much of a royalist but I personally feel the sadness of it all - way more than I thought I would.

She’s been a sign of stability and empathy for many, particularly during a disruptive and bumpy period where we might not have had much stability elsewhere.

And many people will feel that impact, particularly with so much talk of more instability to come.

The UK just feels a bit…emptier today.

So go easy on your people today and check in on them.

They might need it - for a variety of reasons 👍

Ox Support Services Ltd and millions of others are saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen this afternoon. Our thoughts and the thoughts of people across the Nation are with The Queen’s family at this most difficult of times.

Many people will feel a sense of personal loss given that she is our longest reigning monarch. Our Queen was driven by duty and conducted herself with dignity and decency, remaining humbled by the loyalty and affection that people showed her.

She was a person in her own right, a wife, a mother and a grandmother, and she remained a still, calm, centre of stability in an ever-changing world,

Holding the highest office in the land, Queen Elizabeth II had the respect of those both at home and abroad and now her reign has ended.

May she Rest in Peace.
