This cake was for a lovely lady of 97 who had her party delayed until last week due to Omicron , but nevertheless the party went ahead and we all celebrated in style !
This was a cappuccino sponge with vanilla latte filling, covered in white chocolate ganache and Sugarpaste , to resemble a film reel of her special moments .

Today my lovely grandson is 11, and decided not to have a cake but wanted cakesickles ! He chose chocolate and orange , and hazelnut and tonka bean ! What is tonka bean ? Hard to describe .. large bean that smells amazing , like vanilla , chocolate , clove , coconut ..All those and something else I can’t put my finger on , but the flavour is absolutely amazing ! If anyone wants to try it why not order a cake or cakesickles and see what you think ?

A rich dark fruit cake covered with marzipan and fondant , then decorated with hand drawn and painted polar bear, with hand painted moon, stars and snowflakes , in a little of forest of trees , and the cake drum to match .

Today was the Baptism of Angelina , long delayed due to Covid , but at last , a celebration for all the family and friends from near and far!
My lovely neighbour asked me to make a cake to mark this important step in Angelina’s life , it was a pleasure to make and this little girl looked so adorable on her special day

Today’s cake was all about pink , so it’s a salted caramel sponge filled with sc buttercream ( home made caramel sauce ..so yummy! ), then covered in as much pink and sparkly chocolate and prettiness as I could find , along with a thick pink chocolate ganache drip and a little bit of stencilling , and I added small pink handmade chocolate bars, so can you identify the different types of confectionary on here ?
